Hi! I am Carlota, a Mechanical Engineering M.S. student at CU Boulder with an undergraduate degree in Aerospace Engineering. My research interests center around revolutionizing product evaluation methods within their intended context to advance design theory and methodology. I am also interested in the automotive industry and my time at Lucid Motors as part of the Occupant Package and Ergonomics team taught me the importance of designing products that prioritize human experience and their environment. I consider myself curious, eager to continuously learn and innovate, and passionate about what I do. Besides academia, I love playing volleyball, assisting in the workshop of the Buff Racing team, and exploring the beautiful hiking trails that Colorado has to offer.
